Visitor 600 evidence when my parents are funding the trip

600

I'm helping my younger sister apply for a Visitor 600 to come for three weeks during my university break. She is a student and my parents will pay for flights and spending money. Would it be better to upload my parents' bank statements, my invitation letter, or both? I'm also wondering what counts as enough evidence that she will go back home after the visit.

It may also help to include family ties and any current commitments at home. I have seen people focus only on the money side and forget the return evidence.

I would keep the explanation simple and consistent. If parents are funding it, show their funds and say that clearly rather than trying to make your sister look self-funded.

For my family visit we included the sponsor letter, bank statements from the person paying, uni enrolment, and a short travel plan. The enrolment letter helped show there was a reason to return.
