NSW 190 nomination after changing jobs

I submitted my NSW 190 EOI while working in my nominated occupation. I have now moved to a new employer in the same occupation with similar duties. Do I need to update the EOI immediately, and could the job change affect nomination if my points stay the same?

For state nomination, also check if NSW has any residence or employment requirements for your pathway. Those details can matter more than the job change itself.

Keep payslips, contract, and duty statements from both roles. Even if the change is fine, you may still need to document the experience clearly.

If the change affects dates, employer, or claimed experience, I would update it. The points need to be true at invitation and application time.
