Can I travel overseas while waiting for a 190 decision

I lodged my 190 onshore and have a Bridging Visa A. I need to travel overseas for a family event before a decision is made. Is applying for a Bridging Visa B enough, and does travel affect the 190 processing queue?

Check the BVB travel period carefully. People sometimes focus on the grant and miss the last date they can re-enter.

Travel by itself should not reset the queue, but make sure you are contactable and can respond to any request while away.

You generally need the BVB granted before leaving if you want to return while the application is pending. Do not leave on a BVA and assume it will be fine.
