Bridging visa work rights after applying onshore

I applied for a new visa onshore and received a bridging visa grant notice. My current visa still has work restrictions. Do the bridging visa conditions start now, or only after my current visa expires? The wording is making me nervous because my employer wants to increase my hours.

I had the same confusion. VEVO was the easiest way for my workplace to check what conditions were active at the time.

Read the grant notice carefully because it should say when it comes into effect. If you are unsure, do not rely on your employer's interpretation.

Usually the bridging visa is granted but not active until the current substantive visa ends. The conditions on the active visa are the ones you follow.
